We believe every greyhound, lurcher, and sighthound in Scotland deserves to know what it means to be loved. Founded in 1998 and run 100% by dedicated volunteers, the Greyhound Awareness League (GAL) is a registered charity on a mission to rescue and rehome ex-racing, ex-working, and abandoned hounds.

We work closely with the public to share the joy of these breeds, helping families discover what incredibly calm and loving pets they make. Together, we are giving these beautiful dogs their happily ever after.
